Description of island
Udalo Village has approximately 250 inhabitants, most of them are Philippinos. It’s a quiet place, with incredible, untouched nature around it, with many rice fields and small local farms. Perfect place for your getaway.
You can visit: Wild beach around the village, lagoon’s, Mangyanvillage, Latag mountain, reefs, water rivers and rice fields. Noli and Chanda, your hosts, will guide you.
You can do: Snorkeling is one of the main things to do on island. Hiking is another great thing you can do on the island, as lots of hills and mountains are located on the island.
Don’t worry about beach being packed with tourist or people who are trying to sell you souvenirs, mainly only locals are found walking by the beach, just to get from point a to point b, other than that beach will be mainly yours.
From august-may beach is quiet stony , from may-august shore is clear from stones and only sand is covering the shore.
Description of accommodation
Two beach houses are available on the resort, they are located directly on shore – smaller one, good for two people, it has own bathroom with shower. Bigger house with king size bed, good for two-four people, there is option to add two extra maths, own bathroom with shower, as well a little fridge is available in a bigger house.
There is an extra kitchen house, with gas stove and water heater, in case if you would like to cook on your own. In case if you don’t want to cook on your vacation – we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, for additional price, you’ll have choice of fish or chicken, rice, vegetables, etc. As well coconuts are available on the island(20php).
Two shezlong’s and a hammock are available in common area, there you can catch beautiful sunset or sunrise, or simply enjoy your time tanning or reading book.
If you would like to explore water world, there are two masks available on the resort, for no additional price.
In village you’ll find couple of shops with basic foods and sanitary needs. In case if you need bigger choice of food you can go to to Abra de Ilong town market, to get there you’ll have to take Bangka (boat taxi) 50p one way + tricycle 30p one way (total 160p one person, ~1h)
How to get
To get there from Manila you’ll have to take bus Manila – Batangas (~2,5h) and than ferry Batangas – Abra de Ilong (~3h), when you get off the ferry in Abra de Ilong pier, you can see small taxi boot (bangkas) at the right side of the pier, there will be person waiting for you, he will pick you up from there and bring you to resort (~20min)
What to bring
We would advice you to bring slippers and running shoes with you, as there are lots of small lakes running around the shore and village, it will be easier for you to move around the island
