Learn to Bargain

In the Philippines, it is important that you know how to bargain even up to half the original price. Of course we're talking outside malls. In some areas, even in tourist spots, you may bargain and ask the seller to give you a discount. Most of the time the seller give discounts if you really try.

Bargaining is an important skill, if I may call it that, in this country and everything will be really cheaper if you learn it.

It is not only in the Philippines where "bargaining or haggling" is important. Anywhere in the world you go, as long as there is a flea market, you can practice your bargaining skill.

Id always ask half of the price and eventually bought a certain good almost the same rate that i want. Its always good to ask and bargain since most of these entrepreneurs sell their goods almost double the original price.
