i attended the event last year. It was really tempting to ride in the balloon ( but it was way too expensive.haha). Hopefully i'd get chance to attend this year.

This is a great event and a kind of big feast and fiesta. This kind of gathering and congregation is very beautiful and attractive with all the beautiful and colorful balloons which are about to fly. This is really a great fun and entertaining event for a complete family especially for the young kids as well.

I have always wanted to ride on a hot air balloon. Thanks for this information. Instead of staying at home, I might as well ask my parents and my friends to go there. I believe it would be fun. :)

This is one event that I still have to witness. I am more curious to see how these gigantic balloons are assembled and propelled to air. The thought of seeing not one but many hotair balloons floating in the sky surely heightens my interest.

I agree. I have never been to a festival like this. I'm really hoping I can save up enough allowance so I can go there ASAP. haha. I'm excited to be in awe. :D

True, but last year (I can't recall the reason) some afternoon/evening sessions were cancelled. Hence, it is best to catch it in the morning. Be there before 6am and you can see how the balloons are inflated.

For those with tight budget, you need not go inside the Air Force compound and pay P150. Instead, stand along the perimeter fence (it's free) and watch from the sidelines ;) The show is finished in an hour's time.

The venue is Clark (Pampanga), not Subic (Zambales).

Gee, I saw it through Unang Hirit GMA TV this morning and I could see how the balloons were inflated. I could just imagine the mixed feelings of nervousness and excitement if it's taking you for a very exhilarating ride. Blessings and safety for the participants.

Probably due to its bad weather. When we went there last year, we were almost caught by a rain. Good thing, before 6 ( which is their usual cut off to decide if they can inflate the balloons at night or not) the sky was cleared up.

Ill miss the festival this year since i have other plans for the valentines weekend.
