I have been to several beaches in Batangas like in Laiya, San Juan, Calatagan, and Anilao. Among those I would have to say Eagle Point in Anilao would be my best pick so far. No white sand beach but the food was awesome (try their pizza) and snorkeling was a blast!!! The restaurant had wide windows so our breakfast was truly amazing. What's the best for you?

I've been to Anilao, Laiya and Tingloy.

Tingloy will be a great place to visit just make sure you have a place to stay.=)

Anilao has some good diving spots. But when it comes to beaches, Tingloy will be the place for me.

Gerthel Beach
Located in the town of Lobo, it is one of the finest beaches of the area. The approximately one kilometer stretch of white sand beach has gradually sloping ocean floor to about two hundred meters before the drop-off. A beach resort that also serves as an accommodation facility also exists.

How to get there: The beach can be reached by taking a jeepney towards Lobo. Several tricycles can also be hired upon reaching the town proper. The distance from Batangas City to Lobo is about 37 kilometers.
Travel time: 2 1/2 hours from Manila.

Located in the town of San Juan, the area has white sand and a living colony of corals. It lies in a cave that is a prerequisite for a fine beach. A cave nearby adds to the attraction of the beach.

How to get there: San Juan town is about 45 kilometers from Batangas City. A bus company (Supreme Bus Co.) offers services from Batangas City to San Juan. Another alternative is via the town of Candelaria in Quezon Province. Upon reaching the town of Candelaria in Quezon Province. Upon reaching the town proper of San Juan, several jeepneys travel to Laiya but only up to a certain point, after which, one has to walk a kilometer before reaching the beach. The strecth of the road from the town to Laiya is 19 kilometers of very rough roads.

Travel time: 2 1/2 hours from Batangas City via the towns of Ibaan and Rosario.

Munting Buhangin Beach
Located in Nasugbu, the area is located in a cove and offers a fine, white sand beach.

I also came across Aquatico Beach Resort. It’s located in Laiya, San Juan ,Batangas. The resort highlights an infinity edge swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a kiddie pool and a floating pool bar where you can relax while enjoying the cool breeze of the sea.

They have luxurious villas which are equipped with state-of-the-art LCD TV technology and deluxe room amenities. But who needs TV on this beautiful place anyway? Hehe!

The beach front is well kempt. You can use the kayak if you want. The sand is off white and like the sand you find in aquariums. The bar is open till late evening and the food ranges from 200-400 pesos. The complimentary breakfast is a choice between American ( egg, hotdog, bacon, ham and toasts) and Filipino (beef tapa, longanisa, tocino, egg and fried rice). They serve it with orange juice, coffee/tea and a plate of fresh fruits.

From Metro Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway. Take Calamba Exit at the end of the South Luzon Expressway, going towards Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Then, take a Right at the "Star Tollway" going to Lipa (entrance is after the Sto. Tomas Industrial Park).
Upon reaching the end of the highway to Lipa, exit towards San Fernando Air Base, Lipa City. Take a Right towards Cuenca, Alitagtag. Upon reaching the end of the road, turn Left towards Bauan, then Mabini. Turn Right towards Anilao, Mabini (before the bridge). Turn Right at the junction towards Anilao. Before reaching Anilao pier, turn Right at the corner with the Shell Station.

OR...

From Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway from Nichols or C-5 entry all the way to the south end. At the end of the tollway, take the exit that points to Lucena and drive along this main road until you reach the Calamba boundary. About 1.5km from the boundary of Calamba, turn right and take the Star Tollway up to the Batangas/Lipa exit. Upon exit, head westward towards Batangas City.
1.2 km from the tollway exit is the Fernando Airbase and about 2.5 km from it, there will be a junction the leads to Cuenca. Head for Cuenca then Alitagtag then head towards (but not all the way to) Sta. Teresita. About 1.5km from Alitagtag Municipio you will see the welcome arch of Sta Teresita. Turn left, follow the (shortcut) road toward San Luis. This 1 km shortcut road will hit the national highway. Upon the national highway, turn left southward to Bauan.
Right before the bridge before Bauan town proper, turn right at the junction that leads to Mabini, follow the road for about 8.5 km until you see a triangular Y junction. Turn to the right (northeast) towards Anilao. Before reaching the marketplace, turn right at the corner of Shell station leading to Aguila Beach Resort.

http://bp0.blogger.com/_q6F_eduBuNg/RmjMfslseyI/AAAAAAAAA0s/8hueg_9GQZs/s400/bonito1.jpgThis wooded five-and-a-half hectare (http://www.wayph.com/bonito-island-resort-mabini-batangas/)island, encircled by a golden sandy beach lined with coconut trees, is a little paradise for diver and lovers of peace and quiet. Bonito Island is on the eastern tip of Maricaban Island, midway between Batangas and Puerto Galera. At certain times of the year, particularly between November and February, the 45-minute banca trip can be quite bumpy and should be avoided if you have children traveling with you.
Before becoming a resort in the 1970s, the island - also known as Culebra Island - was the holiday home of its owner Conrad C. Leviste (CCL) a dive enthusiast. The place progressively acquired a reputation among the diving clubs which became instrumental in convincing him to transform his home into a dive resort.
The resort offers lodgings, either in the main building or in the duplex cottages. The main buildin, known as the Long House, is a tile-roofed bamboo structure with five rooms in a row, linked by a common balcony facing the beach. It is also here that the terrace restaurant is located. The cottages have two rooms and are convenient for families.
CCL and Mabuhay cottages are nicely facing he sea. CCL is a cement structure with nipa roof. Its interior is warm and comfortable, the bamboo walls contrasting with the marble floor. A sliding door separates the two bedrooms which is perfect for a family. A private balcony opens onto the sea. The last cottage is slightly off the beach.

The beach which encircles the island is enticing. One part near the main building is a wonderful area for snorkeling as the water is shallow and clear. Before venturing out to sea, be wary of the strong currents.
At the end of the afternoon, do not miss the chance to admire the sunset from the summit of the hill. In the evening, after diving, it is nice to have a drink at the bar facing the illuminated coastline of Batangas.
There are two dive sites at the nearby Islands of Bonito and Malajibo-manoc (chicken feather). The latter, also a good snorkeling site, has hot water springs 20 meters deep. Further on are two dive sites on Verde Island. You can also go there by speedboat for a half day picnic to Malaibo-manoc or to Masasa, a beautiful white sand beach on Maricaban Island.
How to get there
By land and sea (4 hours), 3 hours by car from Manila to Mainaga pier in Mabini (near Batangas harbor) . From Manila, there are two possible routes, both accessible via South Superhiway. The faster route is to get off at Calamba exit no. 50A toLucena, turn right to the Star tollway, to Batangas, get off at Lipa/Talomo exit the end of the expressway, turn left to Batangas. The more scenic route is to get off at Sta. Rosa exit no. 40 and pass by Tagaytay and Lemery before reaching Batangas harbor. To reach Maniaga pier in Mabini, proceed through Bauan and after the 144 km sign, turn right to Petron Terminal Mabini. Maniaga pier is near Petron’s terminal. It is 45 minutes from Maniaga to Bonito Island by banca.
