its really a nice place... they have timuga spring pool and the other one is tinago falls which is also nice.

I've been to Timuga. It's wonderful there. There are a lot of pools to choose from for different types of people.

There are pools designed for the kids, for real swimmers and a really awesome slide! :p

Timoga is not a watefalls but it is a spring pool. It is known for its icy cool, crystal clear water which comes from a spring that flows freely towards the pools of different sizes, shapes and designed for different ages. There are actually five resorts to choose from, among all five, I like Delamar because of its Olympic Size Pool.

The fare from the city proper is 15php, entrance is only 50php.

There are other cheaper pools to go in Iligan City. One of them is Maze Parks and Resort. I have mentioned about it in one of started discussions.

Aside from the pools and waterfalls, let's inform our readers that this is where Pres. GMA's ancestral home is. One will see it right away. It has "Macaraeg-Macapagal House" in wrought iron arched on top of the gate.

Yes. GMA was raised both in San Juan and her mother's hometown, Iligan City. She actually lived in Iligan City from the age of four until she reached 11. She stayed with her grandmother, Irinea de la Cruz Macaraeg. In 1994, their house in Iligan turned into a tourist destination featuring Memorabilia related to the Macaraeg and Macapagal Family.
