One of the places I would love to go to is Batanes. Anybody been there? I know that surfing the net is easy but I would love and appreciate if someone who's been there me exactly what to expect from the place. :)

Count me in. I've always wanted to go, too. My friends have gone there, and none of them have been disappointed by it. One even got stranded for a whole week because of bad weather conditions--and she completely didn't mind at all!

Really? Wow! I heard it's laid back and nothing to do there but RREELLAAXX! :-)

That's why she loved it. Very hectic life in Manila left her burnt out. The province is just beautiful, and people really friendly. And the food!

Based on a coffee table book by the Department of Tourism, Sabtang Island in Batanes is one of the 12 best destinations in the Philippines. It takes you back to another time as it has remained unspoiled and undisturbed. There are sandy beaches, rugged trails, limestone and cogon houses in the area.
