Looking for accomodation in boracay?

Im shopping around, we're looking for accomodation in Boracay a group of 5.
A rough estimate would be nice and modes of payment.

Not looking for something fancy just a place to crash after we hit the water.

Jeff, what is your budget ? Do you plan to visit Boracay in low season (june - oct) or high season ? Which area do you prefer ? i.E. .. high price ***** resort area at station 1, party & nightlife scene at station 2 or budget and more quiet area at station 3 ? Anyway .. White Beach is only around 4 km long .. and from Station 3 - 2 or 1 its also only 10 - 15 minutes walk along the beach pathway ... So even from Station 3 its easy to reach Talipapa or d`mall etc.

Somewhere close to the beach but not doorstep close of course. We dont mind walking for a few minutes. The ones I've seen in other sites are around $100-$300.

$ 100 - $ 300 a night ? Well, you find at Boracay cottages for 600 or 700 PHP, you find aircon rooms from 1000 PHP on already or you choose the new Shangri-La with rates between 20.000 - 160.000 PHP per night ..lol..

Fridays at Station 1 is a good choice and recommended as one of the best resorts. Also Waling Waling, Seawind, Le soleil, Nigi Nigi 2, Discovery Shores, Sur Beach Resort ... may be suitable for you. When you look for cheaper offers I can also give you some hints :)

Huh? $100-$300 a night is too much! My daughter was there once and she said the accommodation was really affordable.

True ... as I said ... you can find almost all rate levels at Boracay; sure .. there are also many budget offers at station 3 area. Soon is low season .. aircon room with TV, radio, hot water shower for around 1000 PHP, is also no problem. We offer cottages with fan, tv, radio, bath .. for only 590 PHP for 2 guests in low season ...

But some guests prefer a luxury ambiente with spacious suites, big pool, beach front location etc. Take a look at the ShangriLa rates (http://www.shangrilaboracay.com/rates.html) ... :eek:

Thanks for that info. I'm looking forward to be in Boracay one of these days. I've been invited by my daughter to go with them last time but I was hesitant as I was afraid of the high rates but then, I see the real score now.

Hey Jude or Willy's are also good. Hey Jude is in station 2 while Willy's is in station 1.
