Despite the fact that the Visayas extend so far in all cardinal directions, the water temperature is always pleasant no matter what the season, and the air temperature ranges from 25°C to 30°C year round. The area is generally less affected by the dozens of typhoons that sweep through the Philippines to the north. The wet season is usually from May to October and the dry season from November to April, with slight variations in different parts of the region.
As for ATMs, it is available everywhere and it's very easily accesible. And most of the establishments in the Visayas region accepts credit card.

wtf you talking about november to april is dry season!? storms come like from august to january!
This May, I heard KillerBee (a good radio station in Cebu) is having a kickass party in Bantayan. They'll bring the biggest clubs in the shore.

In other words, "our weather is unpredictable". It's too hot and humid and all of a sudden, it rains...

In other words, "our weather is unpredictable". It's too hot and humid and all of a sudden, it rains...HAHAHA Right on the nose, man! Seriously, the temp plays from 25 - 33 deg C with or without a storm. Humidity can be felt during high noon to about 3pm. It's okay weather if you are not prone to heat stroke. If however, you're on the beach, BEAUTIFUL wouldn't even begin to describe the weather. Can't compare it properly with Europe though because I can only comment on Utrecht, Netherlands. In May, it ranges from (hmm...) 12 - 20deg C (if I remember correctly).

I think there are a lot of bars and clubs in Cebu that you can go ahead and check out. Truly the weather is unpredictable but no need to bring thick sweaters, right?

When its from 25-27, I still can stand it. But with 28-33 deg C? OMG! That's too warm already. I'm less productive with that, I mean...when working and no electric fan or AC, I can't expect good result of work. I'm not really comfortable with that temp.:(

During the past week I have our fan open with the A/C at full blast. Can't stand the heat! :(
